OVERVIEW OF B.ED COURSE

  • B.Ed.: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

OVERVIEW OF D.EL.ED COURSE

  • Name of the Courses : D.El.Ed
  • Duration : 02 Years
  • Student Intake : 50

i) Pass in Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination with 50%.

ii) A relaxation of 5% marks (i.e. 45% in Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination) is admissible to SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH/Ex-Servicemen applicants.

iii) In order to avail such relaxation an applicant is required to submit relevant certificate(s) of such category/categories, issued by the competent authorities in the State/Central Government.

The entry qualifications of an applicant belonging to Ex-Servicemen shall be determined in terms of School Education Department’s memo no. 598-SE (EE) /PTTI- 16/17 dated 08.09.2017 read with the clarification ofMHRD contained in memo no. F. No. 1 -22/2012- EE-4(P) dated 23.08.2017, if the applicant does not have 50%/45% marks in Higher Secondary (+2) examination.

Age:

Upper Age limit as on the first day of July of the year of Notification for such admission shall be 35 Years for General Category candidates, 40 Years for SC and ST candidates, 38 Years for OBC-A & OBC-B candidates, while for PH-candidates it shall be 45 years.

The upper age limit for an Ex-Serviceman applicant shall be 55 Years, where as in case of an in-service primary school teacher, appointed prior to 03/09/2001, there shall be no such upper age limit, if he/she is duly recommended by the concerned DI of Schools (PE) and has the minimum percentage of marks (50% or 45% as the case may be) in his/her Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent Examination.

The intending applicants, eligible in terms of the eligibility criteria, stipulated in the Notification of the Board, published in the News Papers or official website: https://wbbprimaryeducation.org shall apply online within and before the stipulated last date, as per the given instructions, annexing/uploading relevant scanned or photocopies of the documents, such as

  1. Admit Card of Madhyamik Pariksha or Equivalent Examinations as proof of age, 
  2. Mark- sheet of Higher Secondary (+2) or its Equivalent Examinations, 
  3. Self- photograph (as per specifications), 
  4. Caste & Category Certificate (where applicable), 
  5. PH Certificate (where applicable), 
  6. Scanned Signature of the applicant, 
  7. Pension/Service Booklet/Certificate as proof of Ex-Serviceman (where applicable) and 
  8. Domicile certificate, issued by the concerned BDO for Santhali Medium applicants.
